Pironti, who has lived in the township for the past three-and-a-half years, has worked in the private sector in marketing for the insurance industry and, before that, with commercial mortgage underwriting in the banking industry. If re-elected, Hunsicker said, two other top issues for her would be promoting and developing the businesses on Bethlehem Pike and expanding the township’s trail system so the township becomes a walkable community while maintaining open space. “I will continue to work with planning and economic consultants to define a vision for these properties to ensure the township’s continued economic vibrancy well into the future while building public/stakeholder consensus throughout the entire planning process,” she said. Hunsicker identified the development of the Dow Chemical and Merck properties as the most important issue currently facing the township. “My legal background allows me to effectively navigate the issues that accompany a leadership role in local government,” she said. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hunsicker said her listening and communication skills make her an effective supervisor, as she is able to build relationships, bring stakeholders together and grow a strong sense of community. ![]()
